Built to help women have a 360° approach to health through perimenopause to post-menopause.
It is undeniable that our mind can affect the way our body feels. Our thoughts and emotions can reflect on our physical health. More specifically on our nervous system. These effects can include things such as overthinking, stress, anxiety, and sometimes even depression.
Likewise, our physical health can also affect our mental health. For example, when there is an imbalance of hormones and other chemicals in our brain, we tend to experience many different mental health problems such as the ones mentioned previously. When we are fatigued, our mental energy and sharpness also tend to drop. We also become more vulnerable to intrusive thoughts and unwanted feelings.
Therefore, our thoughts, emotions, and feelings can impact our overall and physical health. These are the two factors that make up our overall health and justice. Neglecting one of them can affect the other as well.
Many people tend to think that in order to think positively, they just need to change the way they think. They think that by deliberately and always consciously thinking of positive thoughts, everything else will be positive in their mind. However, what they don’t take into account is that our thoughts, feelings, and emotions can also be a reflection of the state of our nervous system. As mentioned before, when there is an imbalance of hormones caused by different factors such as stress, diet, and sometimes even lack of sleep, our nervous system will be in jeopardy.
On the other hand, when our nervous system is in a relaxed state or is calm, then our thoughts and emotions will more likely be on the positive side of the spectrum.
This is why it’s very important to not only take care of how we think but to take care of our physical body as well. Trying to have positive thoughts while also trying to improve the state of your body will work wonders for you. This is because doing only one or the other will NOT give us holistic health.
Bottom line… if you want to have more positive thoughts, then you must not neglect your physical side as well. Having a healthier body can lead to healthier thoughts, and healthier thoughts can then lead to a healthier lifestyle. Taking care of both of these aspects is a cycle and must come in pairs. If you want to have a more positive outlook in life, then you must take care of your body first. Then, if you want to have healthier bodies and have more motivation to take care of yourself, then you must also take care of how you think.
All of these will lead to a healthier and happier outlook in life. So, if you want to learn more about how to take care of both of these aspects, I have just the right programs for you and I’ll show you exactly how you can take care of your nervous system and have a better lifestyle overall with positive thoughts and outlook in life.
